In the past three years, Tour de Whatcom has given away $42,000.00 to non-profits. In 2017, the beneficiary of your ride was the WMBC-Whatcom Mountain Bike Coalition. It will be our beneficiary again for the 2018 ride.
From: Eric Brown, Trail Director, Whatcom County Mountain Bike Coalition
“We are again grateful to be the beneficiary of proceeds from the Tour De Whatcom for 2018 and truly appreciate Whatcom Events recognition of our contribution to our community. Beyond our continued stewardship of Galbraith Mountain, Civic Dirt Jumps and Whatcom Falls Pump Track, we also help build and maintain trails on Stewart Mountain, Lookout Mountain, Blanchard Mountain and Chuckanut Mountain. The proceeds from the Tour De Whatcom will help us complete projects on Lookout Mountain in 2018.”
